As part of our ongoing relationship with the women of AMUCC, every year, we present a Quality Award to two association members whose coffees set themselves apart.
At Home.
Pre-pandemic, our Chief Coffee Guy made an annual trip to Cauca to check in with our farmer partners and try micro-lot submissions from across the group.
Unfortunately, due to stay-at-home orders, we transitioned this process to tastings conducted at Groundwork HQ in North Hollywood. Each cup is blindly sampled and graded based on its sweetness, balance, acidity, and uniformity.

This year we tried delicious submissions from 6 incredible women; however, two were obvious standouts.
